Mundania, and what lies beyond

Mundania is a term used in the Society for Creative Anachronism. Its main use is denoting the modern day life that members leave when they go to medieval recreation events, but it has an expanded meaning that goes back to its roots. Mundania is the press of dreary every-day tasks and responsibilities, a weight of sameness and joylessness that makes you feel that your life is gray and dull and lifeless. Your passions and creations are what stop Mundania from taking over your life.

I want to share what keeps Mundania at bay in my life. I hope that by showing you the stained glass in my gray walls, I can inspire similar discoveries in yours.
